Crestle Zanders boosts its transactions and dispute capabilities with a major addition to its team.

Africa’s first specialist energy, natural resources and infrastructure international law firm Crestle Zanders has bolstered its Energy Regulatory, Energy Transactions Advisory, PPP and Arbitration capabilities by the addition of Nigeria’s foremost privatization lawyer.

In a move that reflects the firm’s commitment to building and sustaining a leadership position in its niche market through attracting the finest lawyers with the most outstanding technical abilities and distinctive insight in its focus sectors, Professor Paul Indornige, former General Counsel of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) at the National Secretariat of the National Council on Privatization of Nigeria where he was a World Bank/Department for International Development Adviser (Consultant) and General Counsel/Head of Secretariat, joins as Senior Legal Consultant.

Professor Idornigie spent seven years at BPE where he led the legal teams that advised on the transactions with some of the highest profiles in the history of Nigeria and by extension Africa, including the sale of government’s interests in Nigeria’s state telecommunication corporation, petrochemicals company, insurance company and aluminium smelter company, and the concessioning of the national iron ore mining company, steel rolling company, airports and seaports infrastructure.
